Welcome to All Saints' Church, Acton

All Saints' is a peaceful, historic church in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, with a story stretching back through centuries of English life. Inside, you’ll find some remarkable treasures—from the stunning brass memorial of Sir Robert de Bures, one of the finest medieval military brasses in the world, to the Jennens Monument, which inspired Charles Dickens' Bleak House.

You’ll also discover the brasses of Dame Alice de Bryene and Sir Henry de Bures, alongside memorials to the Daniels family—whose extraordinary history takes in royal courts, civil war, and quiet resistance.

As well as being a place of history, All Saints is a living church. We hold regular services and seasonal celebrations, and our calendar of events brings together people from across the parish and beyond. You can find a list of our upcoming services below and view our events here.

There’s so much more to discover. We hope this website gives you a taste of what makes All Saints special—and that it inspires you to come and visit in person.
